Real Estate Goals

Whether or not you choose to believe it, most real estate professionals really do want to help you either buy the right home or sell the one you've got.  There's a very old misnomer that because we agents "sell" something that we're only in it for the money.  Sadly, there have been those cases where the bottom dollar is what motivated some agents in a different time. However, most of today's agents understand that it behooves them to be connected and come from a place of service for their clients because of the potential for not only future business but the possibility of adding new relationships to the equation.   Until I was an agent myself I would (and still will) recommend Lin Van Meter of ReMax Innovations until  the cows came home (haha, get it) because she helped me buy the home I'm currently in, which I love.  But she really did so much more. She became a friend & honorary family member.  She had patience when we were clueless...

What Would My Tombstone Read?

I know... kind of a morbid question, right?  Well here's the deal, someone asked me to define my purpose in life and after much thought I finally came to the conclusion my purpose should be able to fit on my tombstone, or in my case, an urn.  It's  my  legacy and I want it to read as a reflection of how I lived my life and how, as my loved ones live on, they'll remember me. Now, the meaning of life has been debated for eons.  Why are we on this planet? Why do things happen they way they do?  Is there a divine presence that knows and controls all or are we given free-will to make our own destiny?  Why do some people seem to have it so easy when others struggle beyond what seems fair?
